Couples 'should take holidays in a place with wide appeal'
British couples have been advised to take their holidays in a place that will appeal to both partners.

Flights to Thailand and other exotic destinations could be in demand after couples were given advice on how to pick which holiday destination to visit.

According to a poll by TripAdvisor, many men and women argue on holiday because they disagree on what to do and where to go during their trip.

Some respondents also admitted that they clash because they simply get on each other's nerves while they are on holiday together.

As a result, TripAdvisor has suggested that couples avoid spending every moment of their break together and head somewhere that appeals to both parties.

"Many beach destinations also have local activities for the more energetic, and if you're an adrenalin junkie make sure there are relaxing options too if your partner prefers a good book," said Emma O'Boyle, spokeswoman for TripAdvisor.

This comes after a poll by London Gatwick Airport found that many people feel uncomfortable baring their flesh on the beach on the first day of their holiday, as they are white and pasty rather than tanned.
