Consumers who take flights to Bangkok will be able to enjoy
some great food in the city, a travel magazine has stated.
According to Travel + Leisure, the cuisine on offer in the
capital of Thailand is "amazing".
Visitors were encouraged to try out the food on offer along the
Chao Phraya River, before sampling some "street food" elsewhere in
the city.
Travel + Leisure recently named Bangkok as the World's Best
City, which follows its earlier victory in 2008.
The publication said this is a significant accolade considering
that Thailand was struck by political upheaval earlier in the
year.
Indeed, it stated that Bangkok's status as the best city in the
world highlights the "enduring appeal" of the "Asian
metropolis".
This comes after a study by travelsupermarket.com found that 46
per cent of people in the UK are definitely planning to enjoy a
break in the next 12 months.
