Transfer: Sun Island is accessed by a 35-minute seaplane ride. Alternative transfer is also available by speedboat and takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. Clients who arrive by late night flights will stay overnight in a city hotel, as seaplanes do not operate after sundown. They will be transferred the next morning with he first available flight. Clients departing by evening flight will be provided a transfer as late as possible. Check-out from the resort is at 1200 hrs. It is recommended to take a day use room in Male' till the time of the International departure flight.
ACCOMMODATION:
Sun Island Resort have 350 rooms, including 72 water bungalows, out of which 04 are Presidential Suites. The rest are Super Deluxe rooms (218) and Standard rooms (60). All Super deluxe and Standard rooms are placed, to ensure a direct view of the beach and sea.

Guraamuli Grill serves excellent seafood barbecues and grills and for the more relaxed, delicious Pizza Express is available. The Italian and the Japanese Restaurant situated at the end of the main jetty add to the variety and enhance the satisfaction of dining.

The Water Suites built either side of the far end of the jetties provide accommodation for those who want to spend their holiday in style.
