British Airways has announced the increase of its flight schedule from Cyprus towards London’s two prime airports: London Heathrow and London Gatwick. The increase in flights from Cyprus offers travellers the option of 17 flights per week, and will provide a significant boost to both incoming and outgoing tourism of Cyprus. The resumption of Pafos-Gatwick route on 30th March 2014, British Airways immediately proceeded with the increase in flights from Larnaka to Gatwick from 3 to 5 times a week.

The direct flights from Larnaka to Gatwick take place on board an A320aircraft on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, enhancing the efforts of British Airways to successfully meet the demands of passengers and their need for increased number of flight options, especially during the summers.

According to Freddie Stier, Commercial Director of British Airways Cyprus and Greece, during the peak season, British Airways confirms its commitment to Cyprus with a boost in number of flights and offer greater choice to both incoming and outgoing travellers. With 17 flights to and from Cyprus over the summer period, travellers can now take the advantage of multiple connections to other destinations across BA network.
