British Airways has officially unveiled its new lounge at Cape Town International Airport.

The airline has opened this lounge just a month before the increase in its winter schedule to Cape Town from seven to 10 flights a week. The lounge has a capacity to accommodate 148 customers.

Lounges are an important part of airlines’ customer service experience for its premium customers and most loyal frequent flyers. Lounges are one of the top benefits of the airline’s loyalty programme.

The original Galleries lounges are fine specimens of the best of British design, style and art from past and present. And the same concept has been applied in the lounge at Cape Town International, which is a fine blend of British and South African designs.

With the increase in flights to Cape Town and investment in facilities here, British Airways is showing confidence in the Western Cape economy.
