Emirates, a leading gulf carrier, has announced to serve all of its eight daily London flights with Airbus A380, from January 1, 2016.

The carrier has announced to add 259 seats every day each way thus increasing the seat capacity on Dubai - London route from 3,677 to 3,936. A senior official, who is part of airline’s commercial operation west, said that the carrier has increased capacity to London by 25 per cent during the last five years. With the deployment of the A380 the airline will be able to meet customer demand without adding another frequency.

The carrier operates 119 flights every week from Dubai to the UK. Recently the airline has increased frequency to a number of destinations. Previously this week, the carrier added third daily service to Birmingham, and also added Madrid to its daily A380 routes thus adding 2,900 weekly seats on this route.

The airline said last week that it would add a fourth daily A380 service to Bangkok from December thus adding 3,570 weekly seats.
