Etihad Airways has revealed its plan to operate A380 flights to Sydney. The announcement came a fortnight after this UAE based carrier announced to operate A380 flights to London.

The airline is yet to receive any of the ten A380s for which it has placed an order but it doesn’t stop the carrier to reveal the schedule for superjumbos.

Previously, the flag carriers of Abu Dhabi had revealed its plans to operate double-daily A380 flights to London Heathrow next year.

Etihad's A380 flight to Sydney is all set to commence operation on June 1, 2015. The flights will be operated daily. As per plan, the A380 flight will operate from London Heathrow to Sydney with stopover in Abu Dhabi.

The airline hopes that London - Sydney A380 service will be well received by business travellers. Previously, Emirates and Singapore Airlines have tasted success with similar services.
