Virgin to introduce B787-9 on LHR – Delhi route next year

Virgin Atlantic has announced to deploy a B787-9 Dreamliner on its LHR - Delhi route.

With this announcement airline would for the first time be deploying its B787-9s services to other than the transatlantic market.

Starting from March 29, B787-9 will operate flight on this route. Flight VS300 will depart London Heathrow at 2200 to arrive into Delhi at 1040 the following day.

The return leg VS301 will depart Delhi at 1325 to arrive in London at 1755.

Virgin Atlantic's B787-9 aircraft features three-class configuration that includes 31 seats in Upper Class, 35 in premium economy and 198 in economy.

Founded in 1984, the British carrier offers flight to 32 destinations with a fleet of 37.

With deployment of this state-of-the-art aircraft on London Heathrow – Delhi route, the travel options for business and leisure travellers flying on this route would increase manifold.
