Wizz to launch Flights to Warsaw and Budapest from Birmingham

Wizz Air, the largest budget carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced to launch direct flights from Birmingham to Warsaw and Budapest. The airline will operate two weekly flights on each route from mid-September.

Birmingham will be airlines’ 8th airport in the UK. The carrier will fly from Warsaw on Mondays and Fridays and from Budapest on Tuesdays and Saturdays. A top placed official from the airline expressed pleasure on new addition to its diverse UK network, giving the West Midlands based passengers opportunity to explore two of the largest capital cities in CEE.

The launch of services to Hungary and Poland from Birmingham will strengthen tourism and business ties between these countries.

William Pearson, aviation director at Birmingham Airport also expressed pleasure on announcement regarding launch of Wizz Air new route from Birmingham Airport to Warsaw and Budapest in September. As both these cities are historically and culturally rich a visit to these cities would be a great experience for visitors.
