Flybe unveils new route and summer schedule from Cardiff for 2016

Flybe, one of the major regional carriers in Europe, has announced its 2016 summer schedule from Cardiff Airport. The carrier also has plans to launch a brand new route to Verona. With this announcement, the passengers would have a choice of up to 120 flights a week.

The flights to Verona will be operated from 23rd April 2016 on Saturdays. Situated in northern Italy, Verona is popular as a romantic destination and the setting for Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet.

The city is also frequented by architecture and opera lovers.

The carrier would increase frequency to Milan and Faro operating both 4 times per week as a part of its summer schedule.

With the start of Verona service, the total number of Flybe routes operating from Cardiff will reach 14, including two winter services to Chambery and Geneva.

Officials from the airline and Cardiff airport have expressed their pleasure on announcement regarding new routes and schedule, saying these routes would be highly beneficial for travellers flying to these destinations.
