British Airways has announced to launch flights to London City Airport from Dublin, this winter. With the launch of these flights the airline will be adding an additional link between these two capitals.

With the start of its winter schedule, 26 October, British Airways will launch five-a-day services to London City Airport. The route will be served by a mix of Embraer 170 and 190 jets from its new fleet of 17 aircraft. The aircraft will halt in Dublin overnight for an early morning departure, enabling customers to do a full day’s business in London or get a connecting British Airways flight to domestic, European and international destinations from the London City airport.

The airline has expressed its pleasure on introducing direct flights from Dublin to London City Airport saying its customers wanted direct access to the Docklands and London’s financial hub. Now they have plenty of options to fly between these destinations. The launch of this route complements airlines existing eight times daily Dublin to London Heathrow service and help strengthen business and tourism ties between these destinations.
