EasyJet launches Aberdeen to Geneva route

Most Scottish skiers would jump at this news as easyjet has launched services from Aberdeen to Geneva. It is airlines third route from Aberdeen alongside London Gatwick and London Luton.

The new weekly service that started operation on Saturday 13th December is the only direct scheduled service from Aberdeen and will operate on Saturdays throughout the winter. The route is supposed to be well received by Scottish skiers looking for easy and affordable access to some of the world’s best skiing destinations.

The airline will operate this route using a 156 seater Airbus A319 and hopes the new route will attract around 3,500 passengers to and from Geneva this winter.

A top placed official from the airline said that as the largest airline of Scotland they are strengthening their network at Aberdeen with launch of Geneva route. The services to Geneva will give skiers an easy access to popular Ski slopes.
