Wizz Air adds new destination in Poland from Bristol Airport

Wizz Air, a low cost carrier in Europe, has announced to add a new destination in Poland from Bristol Airport. The carrier will operate a twice-weekly service to Katowice from 26 June 2015. The flights will be operated every Monday and Friday.

Wizz Air, one of the largest budget carriers in Central and Eastern Europe, will be adding Bristol as its 106th airport to its route network with a launch of the Katowice service.

Katowice, one of the major cities in the Upper Silesian region of Poland, is a hub of science and industry. The city also boasts of impressive architecture with a mix of Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings. In addition, the city is home to several tourist attractions.

Apart from offering interesting city break destination to the UK based visitors, the services will also prove beneficial for Poles from the region living and working in the South West.
