Monarch adds Lisbon to its winter schedule from Birmingham

Monarch, a leading UK based airline, has announced to add Lisbon to its winter schedule for 2016/17 from Birmingham airport.

The new route to Lisbon will be launched on June 17 and will be operated three times a week throughout the winter months.

Marjan Schoeke, Monarch’s Head of Network Development, said that they continuously refine and make network strategy keeping in view where and at what time their customers want to fly. And they are happy to launch routes that Monarch will be flying in winter for the first time. Their new winter route to Lisbon is proving popular among the travellers.

William Pearson, Aviation Development Director at Birmingham Airport also expressed his pleasure Monarch direct flight to the Portuguese capital of Lisbon from Birmingham Airport. Lisbon is steeped in history and culture and there are beautiful plazas, beaches and fun activities to make it a perfect destination.
