Air China has announced to add a second daily service on its London Heathrow – Beijing route.

The airline will operate double daily flights on this route from October 26 using A330-200 aircrafts. Currently, the route is being operated with B777-300ER.

The national carrier of China is actively expanding its services in Europe. Currently, the carrier is operating more than 100 weekly flights between the two regions.

The airline operates services to major European destinations that include flight to major cities like Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Moscow, Athens, Munich, Stockholm and Vienna.

The Chinese flag carrier has recently launched four weekly services on Beijing–Vienna–Barcelona route, using an A330-300 aircraft.

In a statement, the airline has said that its Beijing-Vienna-Barcelona service will make travel between East Asia and Central and Southern Europe easier.

Europe is fast becoming a popular destination among Chinese tourists due to the Schengen visa system that allows them to visit a number of cities as a part of single trip.
