Soon passengers from West Midlands, who wish to fly to Czech capital, would have more flying options as Czech Airlines, the national carrier of Czech Republic, has announced to launch flights to Prague from Birmingham.

With this launch, Czech Airline would be the eleventh carrier to start flying from Birmingham Airport this year.

The carrier will commence five times a week service to Prague from April 2016 and will deliver an additional 50,000 passengers through the airport a year and provide more connection through Europe.

William Pearson, Birmingham Airport’s Aviation Development Director expressed his pleasure saying Prague is a brand new route from Birmingham and they are happy that Czech Airlines has confirmed they will launch services from Birmingham for business and leisure travellers.

With this announcement, the airline has also announced schedule of flights. The carrier will operate this route using an Airbus A319 aircraft in two class configurations, with 10 seats in business class and 120 seats in economy.
