Qatar Airways the flag carrier of Qatar has expanded its route network in Africa with flights to Djibouti starting in July. The airline offer thrice weekly non-stop flights to Djibouti from Doha beginning from 27th July.

The announcement comes as the airline prepares for a busy few months ahead with the launch of scheduled flights to various destinations such as flights to Philadelphia and Larnaca in April, flights to Edinburg, Istanbul and Sabiha in May, flights to Miami and Tokyo Haneda in June and flights to Dallas/Fort in July.

According to Al Baker, Chief Executive Officer, Qatar Airways the commencement of services to Djibouti is yet another example of airlines’ commitment to opening up access to destinations that are largely underserved by international airlines and have great market potential. Flights to Djibouti from Doha will be served with an Airbus A320 featuring up 123 seats in Business Class and up to 132 seats in Economy class. The aircraft also features setback TV screens providing all passengers in both cabins with interactive onboard entertainment systems.
