Emirates adds third daily Birmingham service

Emirates, a leading gulf carrier, has started a new Dubai to Birmingham daily service thus added seven more flights a week on this route.

The airline will operate this route using B777-300ER aircraft in a three class configuration that offers 8 seats in first class, 42 seats in business class and 310 economy class seats.

The inaugural flight EK41 from Dubai landed at Birmingham International Airport on August 1, 2015, at 0705hrs, the local time.

The addition of third daily service on Birmingham Dubai route, the number of total weekly nonstop flights between Dubai and the UK has reached to 119.

The carrier started operations to Birmingham in December 2000 with a daily nonstop service using a 278-seat Airbus A330. Later in 2005, the airline added second daily service using the same aircraft. In 2007, the carrier deployed to B777s to serve these services.

In its 15 years of operation, the airline has carried around six million passengers on this route.

As scheduled flight EK41, operated by a B777-300ER will take off from Dubai Airport at 0235hrs to land at Birmingham at 0705hrs. The return leg EK42, will depart from Birmingham Airport at 0910hrs to arrive back in Dubai at 1910hrs.

With the addition of third service on this route options for travellers has increased.
