Emirates, one of the leading gulf carriers, has announced to add a third daily service from Birmingham Airport to Dubai.  With this launch, Emirates has become the first airline to offer a direct First Class service to the region.

The services will start from Saturday 1st August 2015.  As scheduled Emirates flight EK41 will depart Dubai International Airport at 02:35hrs to arrive in Birmingham at 07:05hrs. The outbound service EK42 will take off from Birmingham Airport at 09:10hrs to arrive in Dubai at 19:10hrs. The additional service will increase passenger and cargo capacity on the route by 50 percent.

Dubai is a popular destination for leisure and business travellers residing in the West Midlands. The additional daily flight to Dubai from Birmingham will offer travellers more flexibility and options.

This leading gulf carrier started flying on Birmingham – Dubai route in December 2000 with a 278-seat Airbus A330.

An official from the airport said that airlines decision to add a third daily service to Dubai from Birmingham Airport clearly shows the strong demand from West Midlands passengers.

The airline will operate this service with a Boeing 777-300ER in a three class configuration.
