Monarch Airlines, a British carrier, has announced to operate three weekly flights between Manchester and Tel Aviv from April 2016.

The carrier is returning to Israel after a decade. Previously on December 3, the carrier began two routes with thrice-weekly operations from Luton airport near London to Ben Gurion airport and a weekly Thursday flight from Ovda near Eilat to Luton.

A senior official from the airline said that the carrier is continuously refining and developing its network strategy and learning about customers demand to where and when to fly. And the airline will be launching a Manchester to Tel Aviv service based on demand. The route is being launched after the success of flights to Israel at the beginning of December.

With the launch of Manchester Tel Aviv route, the business and tourism ties between these destinations is all set to increase.
