Norwegian to launch Gatwick-Boston route

Increasing flying options for passengers from London, Norwegian has announced to launch a new transatlantic route from London Gatwick to Boston.

The budget carrier will operate four weekly services on this route from May 2016. The days and time of the flights are yet to be disclosed.

A top placed official from the airline said that the carrier has carried over 200,000 passengers on transatlantic routes and with addition of Dreamliners at Gatwick they will be able to add further exciting destinations such as Boston. He further said that their growth in the UK reflects need for quality travel that too at reasonable price. Free inflight Wi-Fi on flights within Europe and modern fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners give carrier an edge.

Previously in 2014, the carrier commenced flights to New York JFK, Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale from London Gatwick. The services to JFK and LAX got doubled this summer. The carrier has plans to operate the New York (JFK) route daily this winter.
