United to operate B787-9 one-off service on Heathrow- Houston Route

United Airlines has announced to operate a one-off B787-9 Dreamliner on London Heathrow – Houston route next month.
The airline will operate this service on October 16/17. As scheduled, flight UA004 will leave Houston at 2100 on October 16 to arrive in Heathrow Terminal 2 at 1205 the following day. The return leg UA005 will depart LHR at 1335 to arrive in Houston at 1745 the same day.
Apart from this route, the carrier will also operate a one-off B787-9 service on San Francisco - Chengdu route on October 20.
Previously it was announced that airline will deploy this aircraft on a direct service from Los Angeles to Melbourne from October 26. Earlier this month, the carrier got delivery of its first B787-9 aircraft.
The carrier’s B787-9 aircraft has 252 seats in three class configuration that includes business First, economy and premium economy seats.
