An archipelago consisting of more than 50 islands and cays, the British Virgin Islands has emerged as an important port of call for travellers. And on any normal day you can see a good number of ships sailing to and from the port. Its main island remains chock a block with heavy traffic. The streets get filled with shoppers and traffic comes to a standstill. Virgin Gorda, the second largest island in BVI also gets its share of attention in terms of tourist arrivals. Recent decades have been phenomenal for the growth in its tourism sector and now the number of travellers flying to BVI has increased manifold. Cane Garden Bay (Tortola)

Cane Garden Bay is the hub of activity in Tortola, the most prominent island in the BVI. For a better experience the guest should go to north-western beach where they can sit idle on beach and indulge in several beach activities available there. There are also some good restaurants in the vicinity that can be visited for a dinner. The area comes alive during the night where sound of music emanates from the locals dance clubs. The place remains abuzz with activity round the year but tourists are not complaining and they keep coming in hordes.

The Baths (Virgin Gorda)

The Baths offers one of the most authentic experiences in the BVI. The must see destination in BVI archipelago takes you through some interesting experiences. Climbing through the crevices and grottoes could be an experience in itself but while doing so do wear shoes or sneakers at boulder could be slippery at times. On arrivals to Devil's Bay, you will find its shallow waters ideal for snorkelling.

Smuggler's Cove (Tortola)

Smuggler's Cove is a misnomer. This isolated beach with enough amenities is couples haven. Like all other beaches of the BVI Smuggler's Cove to remains open all parts of the day. The beach is particularly popular with those who love isolation and serenity as part of their trip.

White Bay (Jost Van Dyke)

White Bay is one the ideal destinations for hedonistic tourists. Situated at a convenient location from Great Harbour, the area has largest concentration of bars, and cottages and villas. The place remains abuzz with activity for most parts of the year. Take some quick snack, buy or pint of beer and head to beaches to relax.

Rhone National Marine Park

Want to have a good view of the Marine life of the region then visiting Rhone National Marine Park could be a great idea. During your visit, do explore the RMS Rhone which is one of the world's top shipwrecks. The ship sailed till Oct. 19, 1867 and sank near Salt Island during a hurricane.
