Baiyun Mountain

Baiyun Mountain also referred as White Cloud Mountain; Baiyun Mountain derives its name from the halo of heavy clouds that surrounded the peak before the days of pollution. The mountain consists of several parks, peaks and gullies. Those with a genuine interest in plants should visit the Yuntai Garden situated in Santailing Park. Fei'eling Park hoses a beautiful sculpture garden which is also a major attraction for the tourists.

Yuexiu Park

Those in love with plants and flowers should visit Yuexiu Park the largest botanical garden in Guangzhou. Sprawled over 920,000 sq m Yuexiu Park is also the site of the Spring Welcoming Flower Fair is held here during spring season. The park is also the venue of the grand Chrysanthemum Show in autumn.

Guangxiao Temple

Being in existence for more than 1,700 years ago, the Guangxiao Temple, the oldest and largest temple in the capital of Guangdong Province attracts a large number of visitors. The tourists get amazed to see the beautiful King Hall, the Main Hall and the Yifa Pagoda. The My­robalan and Bodhi trees are other attractions at this temple complex.

Canton Tower

Guangzhou's skyline wouldn’t look the same without stunning Canton Tower, a giant TV tower. This 108-story building looks like a champagne bottle lit with beautiful colours. Tourists who visit this tower never miss an opportunity to get their pictures clicked and catch a panoramic view of the city from the observation deck.

Quingping Market offers a wide array of things and a large number of medicinal goods. The outdoor part of the market has been cleared to build a mall but the inner part of the market is still alive.

Shamian Island
