Poland is often overlooked when we think of a beach destination. But you can blame poor PR machinery for no popularity of beaches in Poland as a popular destination. Clear blue sky, vast stretches of white sand, relatively calm sea and pine forest surrounding the coasts, there may not be much hype about the beaches but these are outright great places to visit. So eat a humble pie for not recognizing it before, and plan a visit to Poland to explore these beaches. Here we give a brief account of beaches in Poland.

Kolobrzeg

The small town of Kolobrzeg has all the essentials of a perfect beach destination. Beach chairs available for rent, rejuvenating spas, beer garden and plethora of dining and accommodation options, the place makes for a perfect beach destination and that too at a very reasonable price. This home to around 50 thousand people has also some tourist attractions that can be visited.

Sopot

A popular resort town in Poland Sopot has enough potential to emerge as a great beach destination. The place situated between Gdansk and Gdynia. Sopot has been attracting tourists since long. Despite being a small city Sopot has its own culture and gastronomic delights. Pier, Crooked House and Sopot Museum are major attractions.

Swinoujscie

Swinoujscie (Swinoujscie)   is situated at northwestern tip of the country at the mouth of the Swina River in the Baltic Sea. The small town of Swinoujscie is also referred as the Pearl of the Baltic. The town is famous for multiple reasons- beaches, health resorts and harbors. No doubt its sandy beaches are top draw cards, it is also famous for the lighthouse, the promenade and windmills. Wolin National Park situated in vicinity can also be explored.

Ustka

A popular port city in Pomerania, this seaside resort sits between Kolobrzeg and Sopot. The place has been serving as a popular port since the 19th century. The town is getting popular among the travelers as a beach destination due to pleasant climate, pristine beaches, rejuvenating spas and some good dining and accommodation options. The city’s eastern section of the beach which is near to the city center is popular among the travelers. The place attracts a large number of travelers during the summers who fly to Warsaw which also act as a gateway for the international travelers.

Miedzyzdroje

This small beach resort enjoys a beautiful location on the island of Wolin. The place is frequented by a large number of travelers during the summers. With a beautiful promenade, spas and several hotels and restaurants the place is an ideal destinations for anyone who is looking to spend some days in isolation. The travelers visiting this place can also go to visit the Wolin National Park which is situated nearby.
