WACA

No doubt Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) Ground tops the visitor’s agenda. The stadium was opened in 1893 and the first match played on the turf wickets in February 1894. The ground is an integral part of the social and cultural history of Perth as it has been a venue of several sports and events that include athletics, AFL, baseball, soccer, rugby league, rugby union and several cultural events. Situated next to it is WACA Museum that has several artefacts related to history of cricket.

Kings Park
