Bordered by the Alalay lagoon, San Sebastian hill and Tunari hill, Cochabamba is a developing and lively city of Bolivia. The city is situated on a very high altitude and has very lush valley with enjoyable and gentle weather. Various travellers prefer to stay in the city as it has warm and sunny days with cool nights at the time winter. In summer, it experiences a very warm temperature.

Cochabamba can be visited either by air or land. It possess of various major charms contains the following:

Palacio Portales

This wonderful charm in the city is situated in the Queru-Queru area, offering the presence of tin baron. The structure was created from imported materials. Its building begun to construct in 1915 and stopped to build in 1927, it is a great site due to its cultural center, art museum and others.

El Cristo de la Concordia

This is the main charm of the city which is taller than the Cristo Del Corcovado in Brazil. It is a wonderful and massive statue of Jesus Christ. It offers you a picturesque sight of the city from its height. It is a great place to catch some beautiful pictures of surroundings.

Pairumani

This must see charm is also called as Villa Albina. It is a burial chamber positioned in the house of Simon Patino consisting of ruins the latter and his wife, Albina. Visiting this place will give you a great opportunity to come across with some facts to know about this place.

La Coronilla

This interesting hill contains a tombstone built in the remembrance of the brave women who battled against Spanish armed forces in 1812 with the intention of protect the city. Visit this place to experience the history and culture.

The city offers you great attractions to enjoy it. You can experience a life full of activity. In Cochabamba, the party starts at night. When the sun goes down, the city lights up and the people come out to refresh their mind after a hectic and busy day of work. The liquor pours down into the glass and they dance whole night on the great music.

You can visit Cochabamba all the year. It has relaxed weather in Bolivia, with hot days and cool nights. Winter (June till September) is the hot period and gives the city a fair skies and cool nights. Summer (December till March) is the showering time for the city and experience most raining in Jan and Feb. At the time of the rainy season the Andean hills change into a verdant green and the entire city immerse in flower.
