Ethiopian Airlines has expanded its fleet by adding a ninth Dreamliner to its fleet. The carrier has plans to expand its U.S. services. If everything goes well, the Ethiopian flag carrier will launch a service to Los Angeles by June 2015.

The carrier is already flying to Washington’s Dulles airport from Addis Ababa nonstop. But due to high elevation of Ethiopian capital flights heading to Washington stop in Rome and Addis Ababa - Los Angeles service would stop in Dublin.

The airline has expanded in size in the last decade and now flying to 18 domestic and 82 international destinations across five continents with a fleet size of 68.

In addition, the airline is all set to launch a regular Boeing 787 Dreamliner direct flight to Harare from Addis Ababa.
