British Airways to Increase Frequency on London - Cape Town Route

British Airways has announced to increase number of flights on London Cape Town route. The national carrier of the UK has announced to increase weekly flights on this route from seven to ten from May.

The number of flights is being increased keeping in view significant increase in business travel.  The newly unveiled Cape Town international Convention Centre is also a major drawcard.

With the increased flights schedule more than 3,500 passengers will be able to fly direct between London and Cape Town every week.

Previously, the British carrier unveiled its lounge at Cape Town International Airport.

Earlier Capetonians had to fly to London via Johannesburg on South African Airways (SAA) flights as SAA had halted direct flights on Cape Town – London route.

Apart from the business tourists, Cape Town, the second most populous city in South Africa, is also popular among the business tourists. With magnificent Table Mountains, museums and landmarks the city attracts travellers from around the world.
