Sydney Film Festival 2014 to attract film buffs from around the world

Sydney, a renowned world destination, will soon be hosting film lovers from around the world on the occasion of the 61st Sydney Film Festival to be held from 4th June to 15th June at the various venues across the city. This year festival is supposed to be bigger and better with screening of 183 films and shorts and documentaries from 47 countries. The number of participants is constantly on increase hinting at rising popularity of the festival.

This year new venues have been added that includes the Skyline Drive-In Blacktown, where a special 40th anniversary screening of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will take place.

With a wide array of provocative, controversial and entertaining films to be screened the visitors should remain assured that there is something for everyone. Some of the screening will also be attended by the actors of the films.

Sydney Film Festival will be attended by film lovers from around the world. London based film buffs can board flights to Sydney to attend this festival.

The festival will be covering a lot in terms of geography, gender and genre. The festival is important in the NSW event calendar as it is one of the longest film festivals in the world.
