Eurowings to launch London Stansted – Vienna service

Eurowings, a German low cost carrier has announced to launch a service on London Stansted - Vienna route on November 9.

The carrier which is a subsidiary and low cost wing of Lufthansa will operate upto nine flights a week from December 4 on this route.

The airline will operate this route using an A320 "sharklet" and not the Austrian Airlines A320 that Lufthansa had previously planned.

The schedule of flights has also been announced. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, outbound service EW5830 will leave Vienna at 0625 and to arrive at Stansted at 0735.The return leg will EW5831 will depart Stansted at 0825 to land at Vienna at 1130.

Every day except Saturdays, outbound service EW5832 will leave Vienna at 1815 to arrive at Stansted at 1925, while return leg EW5833 will depart Stansted at 2005 to arrive in Vienna at 2310.

The carrier also has plans to launch Vienna to Rome flights from March 27.

With the launch of new flights to Vienna, the business and leisure passengers from both the cities will get benefitted.
