If everything goes well, VicFalls Airways, a subsidiary of Zimbabwean, will launch twice weekly flights on three new routes later this year. The carrier has secured Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) and its B767-200(ER) aircraft is going through a major maintenance check at Harare International Airport.

The carrier will launch twice weekly flights on London Gatwick - Harare route later this year. The other two destinations are Guangzhou (China) and Johannesburg.

The soon to be launched carrier has secured traffic right for domestic flights as well as services to India, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, and Mozambique.

The commencement of services on these routes will increase flying options for travellers. As London, Guangzhou and Johannesburg are important business and tourism hubs, the services are expected to be well received by travellers.
