Royal Brunei Airlines has announced to resume its London Heathrow to Ho Chi Minh City service in October. The flights will be operated via Brunei.

Previously, the service with a transfer and overnight stopover at Brunei International Airport was suspended in 2011.

The flag carrier of Brunei will provide four-time weekly service to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest city from October 17.

The carrier will operate this route with an A319 aircraft on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while services on Sundays will be operated with an A320.

According to a top airline official, the airline’s commercial team conducts regular studies to develop and increase connectivity for its markets. And one such recent study found Ho Chi Minh City a frontrunner in providing connections to important destination like Melbourne, Dubai, London and Kota Kinabalu.

The soon to be resumed services will provide increased flying options to leisure and business travellers form both these cities.
