Iberia increases summer flights to Colombia

Iberia, the flag carrier and largest airline in Spain has announced to add five additional weekly Madrid-Bogota flights, doubling the number of services on this route.

The number of flights to Bogota will increase by two from August 9 and by another three from the beginning of September.

The additional frequencies offer Iberia passengers more travel choices to and from Bogota, timed to provide convenient connections on both sides of the Atlantic. As Colombia is a big destination in terms of investment, it is priority market for the airline.

All aircrafts serving this route will feature airline’s newly designed cabin interiors in both business and economy classes.

The airline’s codesharing agreement with LAN Colombia enables it to provide easy connectivity to major Colombian cities, including Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena de Indias, Medellín, Pereira and Santa Marta.

The airline serves 37 destinations in Europe including Berlin, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Geneva, Milan, Munich, Paris, Rome and Zurich. The airline also serves London – Madrid route offering more choices for the UK based travellers. The airline also serves a dozen routes across Africa and the Middle East.
