Vueling to launch new routes from Manchester Airport

Vueling Airlines, a Spanish low cost carrier, has announced to add two new routes from Manchester Airport as a part of its summer 2016.

As per announcement, the airline will operate direct flights to Alicante and Rome from June next year.

The carrier will operate three weekly flights to Alicante and two weekly flights to Rome. Previously, the airline started service to Barcelona in June this year.

The airline will operate Alicante service on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday while Rome service will be operated on Friday and Monday.

Vueling will operate this route using an Airbus A320, with capacity for 180 passengers.

Ken O’Toole, managing director for Manchester Airport expressed his pleasure on airline decision to expand its route network from Manchester Airport. He said that launch of flights to these popular destinations will strengthen airport’s status as the UK’s major airport for the North of England.

A top official from the airline also expressed his pleasure saying they are pleased to add Rome and Alicante to its route network from Manchester, and these new services will provide wider choices to passengers.
