Jazz up your vacation with Paris Jazz Festival

If you are a Jazz aficionado or someone with love for good music then attending Paris Jazz Festival could be a great experience. The festival is scheduled to be held from June 7th to July 27th.

Two jazz groups play every Saturday and Sunday at the big open hall of the Parc Floral de Vincennes. The festival is now in its 20th year and experienced to be attended by more than 100,000 visitors.

The festival is free to all and visitors will only have to pay entry to the park. Attending festival could be a perfect outing as it is celebrated amidst sunshine, coloured flowers, woodlands and lakes.

There is an interesting story behind beginning of this festival. The event first started by two jazz lovers who decided to organised a number of concerts in the botanical gardens in Paris. The event became very popular and rest as they say is history.

More than 30 concerts will be held this year where popular artists such as Cody Chesnutt, Emile Paris/ Vincent Peirani Duo, Bombay Offshore, Paolo Quintet Fresu, and Mondogift will perform.

As various music and craft workshops will be part of this 20 days extravaganza the festivals will appeal people across the ages. So if you are keen to watch some great jazz performances in a natural setting then book a flight to Paris where this festival will be held in the month of July.
