Wizz Air to add more flights to Poland from Robin Hood Airport

Wizz Air, a Budapest based airline, has announced to add flights on Poland routes. The airline will add flights to Katowice and Poznan from Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield.

With this announcement, the number of weekly flights to Katowice will be increased from four to five starting from 29 marches 2015. The number of weekly flights on Ponjan route will be increased from three to four from 21 May 2015.

This increase in flights will add 22,000 seats annually from the Yorkshire airport.

Previously the airline had announced to increase the number of flights to Riga and Vilnius from Doncaster Sheffield Airport from April 2015.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport is airlines second largest base in the UK. With addition of new routes from this summer and increase in the frequency on some routes, the airline has added a total of 160,000 additional seats since January 2014.

The increased frequency on these routes would be of great help for business and leisure travellers.
