Blue Air to launch Birmingham - Cluj-Napoca service this summer

Blue Air, a Romanian low cost carrier, has announced to launch Birmingham - Cluj-Napoca service this winter. The carrier will operate this route three times a week.

With the launch of this route, the carrier will be adding the sixth direct route to Birmingham.

A senior official from Blue Air expressed his pleasure saying the carrier is happy to make its presence at Cluj-Napoca Airport by adding flights on Birmingham - Cluj-Napoca route. The route will prove great for business as well as leisure travelers.

The airline carried 3.2 million passengers previous year and expects 50 percent increase in traffic this year.

Founded in 2014, Blue Air is a Romanian hybrid airline that operates services to 48 destinations with a fleet size of 21.The carrier is headquartered in Bucharest with Henri Coanda International Airport its primary hub.

The launch of this route provides more travel options to business as well as leisure travelers in the catchment areas of both the airports.
