Ethiopian Airlines to add services to Doha, Dublin and LA

Ethiopian Airlines, one of the fastest expanding airlines in Africa, is adding new destinations to its network. The Ethiopian carrier has announced to add Doha, Dublin and Los Angeles to its rapidly increasing network.

The airline will operate 3 times weekly flights to Doha from Dec. 2, which will be its tenth destination in Middle East. The airline will operate this route with Boeing 737.

A top placed official from the airline said that they are delighted to launch services to Doha which is most vibrant and fastest growing economic hubs in the Middle East. The services will provide better connectivity between the State of Qatar and the continent of Africa.

This will be followed by a new 3 times weekly service to Los Angeles via Dublin using fifth freedom rights. The airline will deploy Boeing 787s on the route starting from June 20.

The launch of this service will be highly useful for passengers from the Ireland as it offers them direct flying option from Dublin to LA.

With offices of several high-tech firms in Ireland and presence of large Ethiopian community in Los Angeles the route is expected to be well received by leisure and business travellers.

Los Angeles will be Ethiopian’s fifth destination in Americas as it is already offering services to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Toronto and Washington DC. Dublin is joining Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Stockholm and Vienna as 10th European destination of the airline.
