Flynas offer flights to London Gatwick

Flynas, the leading low-cost carrier from Saudi Arabia has successfully launched its Global Flight Routes program with its inaugural non-stop flight services from King Abdulaziz International Airport to London Gatwick. Flight XY21 touched down at Gatwick at 9.25 am and was greeted with traditional water canon salute where it was met by Guy Stephenson, Chief Commercial Officer along with other senior executives from the airport. The departure flight XY22 was due to return to the Kingdom at 10.50am.

According to flynas CEO, Raja Azmi, launching the first European long-haul route is a very exciting day for flynas and the airline is very pleased to offer non-stop flights to London as a part of its international network. The flynas Global Flight Routes program will cover new destinations across Europe, Asia and Africa, all flying out from international hub in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2014. The international network will also include flights to Manchester, UK in addition to Paris, France, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Jakarta, Indonesia, Karachi, Pakistan, Casablanca and Morocco.

In the words of Guy Stephenson, Chief Commercial Officer at London Gatwick, the airport authorities are very pleased to welcome the first passengers from Jeddah to London Gatwick. Flynas is the first low-cost carrier to serve Saudi Arabia from the UK, introducing further innovation into the long-haul, low-cost, business model. The Airbus A330 aircraft is part of a major fleet investment for flynas and passengers in both Economy and Business Class have access to smart in-flight entertainment, generous hold luggage and a host of other on-board services.
