Chicago Dancing Festival 2014 to add new programs

Chicago Dancing Festival which is set to be held from August 20 – 23 has added two works; a statement regarding this was made on Monday.

The line-up for the festival has already been announced.

The first of the two works is “Transition Zone,” which is new duet of dancers Ben Wardell and Michel Rodriguez, choreographed by Ron De Jesus, artistic director of Ron De Jesus Dance. This work will be performed at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Aug. 22 as a part of the “Dances for 2”.

For the second work, Darrell Grand Moultrie will choreograph a new work for the student dancers of After School Matters. The work will be performed on Aug. 23 at Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park as part of the “Celebration of Dance”.

The festival will be attended by dance lovers from around the world. London based travellers planning to attend this festival can book direct flights to Chicago and see the performance by some popular names.
