Iberia to launch additional services to Santiago

Iberia, the flag carrier and largest airline in Spain has announced to launch three additional flights from London Heathrow to Santiago from October 1.

The flights will be operated via Madrid and run through the March. With the addition of three flights the weekly rotation of the airline has increased to 10, which is a 43% capacity increase.

The airline is continuously increasing its connectivity between Europe and Latin America using its A340s fleet in a 289 or 346-seat configuration.

Apart from Santiago, the airline is already operating services to various capital cities in Europe and Latin America.

Like other long haul routes the airline is introducing its new long-haul cabins on its flights to and from Chile.

The addition of flights on LHR – Santiago route will increase travelling options for business and leisure travellers.
