It’s all down to Air New Zealand’s Economy Skycouch™, a row of three Economy seats that transforms into a flat couch area in which to curl up with a book or simply rest your eyes—so you get to enjoy all the bonuses of Economy from the comfort of your own sofa in the sky. The seats are the same as Economy, but each has a footrest that can be adjusted up or down separately, so you can put your feet up at a 45º angle or make a completely comfortable lounging space with all the footrests at 90º giving you 50% more room.
