Ko Samui island of Surat Thani Province or often simply Samui, is Thailand’s second largest island after Pukhet. - The Magic Garden - The Magic garden or Buddha Garden is located in the hills of Samui. A samuian fruit farmers Nim Thongsuk , started this garden in 1976 when he was 77 years old. It is quite worthy of a visit but it is bit difficult to reach it because the only way to get there is through the jungle, rivers and mountains. The whole journey takes place about 2 hours starting at the back of the Lamai Temple.
- Butterfly Garden - Tropically landscaped Butterfly Garden is situated at the bottom of hill south of its island. It is a home to numerous species of butterflies, insects, moths and bees is a must visit destination for nature lovers. The bee house, a Thai style house which allows visitors to observe activities of bees, an insect museum is major attractions of this garden. - Samui Snake Farm - Informative and entertaining Samui snake Farm is a must visit for those visiting Koh Samui. The snake Farm zoo has collection of giant pythons, king cobras and other reptiles. Two snakes shows a day feature cobra demonstrations from a brave handler, creepy display of deadly scorpions and centipedes and a safe demonstration of crock fighting are very much enjoyed by the audiences.
