Some parts of the palace have been converted into museum where several things related to royals have been kept on exhibit.

The harbour that was created to attract more traffic and commerce to the city is now entertainment hub in the capital city. The area is home to magnificent buildings, boutiques, eateries, tattoo stores and antique parlours. The area also charmed renowned author Hans Christian Andersen who lived here for a fairly long period.
