An eclectic mix of tradition and modernity; ancient shrines situated next to skyscrapers and bullet trains zipping through the idyllic hinterlands: Japan the land of sumo and sushi is country that keeps you spellbound with its amazing diversities. It is the land where impressive castles and palaces echoes with history, ancient geisha culture still mesmerises and waft of sushi makes you drool; the country consisting of around 6800 islands is something you will love to visit over and over again. Thousands of tourists from around the world visit this country which bravely endured the destruction of World War II.

Japan displays great variation in weather; the winter season shows a considerable variation between the western Sea of Japan and the Pacific coasts. While in western sea area there is heavy snow and cold winds, the weather remains relatively dry in pacific coasts. Spring is the ideal time to visit Japan. The tourists should avoid a visit during national holidays when getting transport could be tedious.
